Editorial policy
Urban News Journal aims to make city subjects clearer without pretending that every place works the same way. We value accuracy, clear sourcing and a visible distinction between fact, explanation and opinion.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against reliable material appropriate to the subject and provide enough context to avoid misleading comparisons. Where a point is uncertain, disputed or dependent on place, we say so rather than filling gaps with confident-sounding guesses.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance, clarity and reader value. A commercial relationship does not buy favourable coverage or control over editorial conclusions. We do not invent sources, reporting, credentials, statistics or first-hand experience.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, contact us through the Contact page with the article, the passage in question and any supporting explanation. We review correction requests and make clear changes when warranted; significant corrections should not be hidden.
Partner material
Paid placements and other partner material are labelled clearly so readers can distinguish them from editorial work. Labels do not imply that Urban News Journal independently endorses a partner's claims.
